I don’t think it’s quite as simplistic as this mind you, but regardless of legitimacy and other, there is no benefit to society for GLBT couples. They have no value to a society for survival.
The very basic net of all this is very simple, marriage should be encouraged because that union provides a very important fruit to society, and that is children. Personally we should do all we can to promote marriages and families staying together in the same household and making it such a benefit that people would put up with much more and avoid the numerous divorces that are continuing to shatter our country.
The family unit is dysfunctional in this country and indeed in many places around the world. We should promote it and shout about the importance of a the traditional family; Father and Mother - and children.
Personally I’m appalled at the stance on the allowance of HIV/AIDS people into the country. What the hell are people thinking! I know... let’s bring in more infected people who will end up spreading it somehow. This is the very definition of insanity, and personally I feel this is a travesty to our country.
I have no problem, none, of people choosing to live their life in a way that they see fit(The pursuit of happiness). However, the responsibility to society and creation of new life etc is critical to the longevity of that society, and should be given preferential treatment always.
We are in serious trouble, this just exemplifies the state of the country, but what are we going to do about it?
They are an abomination to society and instead of being 'honored' or 'celebrated' for their perversity they need to be shunned as lepers.
