The commander in chief on Saturday reiterated his support for having homosexuals serve openly in the military. Fortunately, there's a good chance this is another issue on which President Obama is all talk.

He needs to work on a National Security Strategy, an Afghan theater strategy, and Iraq theater strategy and publish each, for all to see.

Especially the US Military, who are rudderless at this point.

Since Obama’s goal is to weaken our military, I am sure he will follow through.

If he wants a revolt in the armed forces, this will do it.

His only strategery is to look like he’s personally riding high above the mess. Let everything else go to hades for all he cares.

YOu got that right for sure. I wonder how many of the 53 million poor souls who voted for Barry Soetoro now deeply regret it. What do they think of Dr. Jekyl & Mr. Hyde? Had Barry declared all of his “sympathies” during the campaign and the debates, who truly thinks he would be POTUS now?

I hope so. Maybe the best thing in the long run would be if he subjects the military to the most insane, off-the-wall demands. This would serve to wake up those who have not been paying attention.

Or if McCain had flogged the truth out of that flim flam instead of treating the Bummer like his best drinking buddy.

Obama political godfather Little Tommy Dasschole quite openly gave it up before the election, on PBS, that Obama's entire strategy revolved around generalizations and vaporings and keeping all these policy questions tightly under wraps.

Selling the American people a pig in a poke, IOW.

Does not fit with his 'Muslim outreach'; so am wondering what he might do to appease them should he 'go there'. (Perhaps find even bigger bus, to throw Israel under?)

And yes, he hates our Military; and what better way to insure a needed 'draft' in a few years than to kick them in the teeth now; by implementing the most daming strategies, so ordained by Obama.

I listened to Michelle’s speeches on C-span before Barry got the nomination - that’s when I knew we would be in big trouble if he were elected. I was told that he would be more moderate due to the forces working the other way. Not so, with Barry (and the Dem Congress). His ideology and ego make it imperative to strike deep and strike fast at the heart of America to bring that HOPE & CHANGE, Chavez style.

I honestly do not think he is working on anything. It's only because of the unyielding nature of Pelosi, et al that the healthcare issue is still alive. I honestly don't think he's capable of seeing anything through.

I think he can follow a schedule someone made for him, read speeches someone wrote for him and he needs lots of down time in between. I think that is ALL he really is capable of.
