"Hospice" is pure, unadulterated evil.
To look in the eyes of a Hospice nurse is to look in the eyes of Satan himself.

I remember when my 89-ish father-in-law had pneumonia the 40-ish female doctor made a remark to my wife and me that pneumonia was “an old man’s friend”. We both actually loved that old man and were so taken aback by that remark that she repeated it, apparently thinking we would welcome being rid of him and didn’t understand the import of her words. Unfortunately for her, he recovered.

I was outraged until I read that this story took place in England. That’s par for the course in England. The Brits don’t have their socks anymore.
Sad, but the doctor won’t be held liable for his misdiagnosis and, as the Brits see it, he was already old and had some good innings. Anything else is purely sentimental.
Have the Brits lost use of their hind legs?

Thanks to ACORN, we have Obama to lead our country down that path. Within two years, he will bring American medical care to that level.

Ah, the classic Monty Python skitupdated for 2009!
Pensioner: “I’m not dead yet!”
Death Panel Doctor: “Ah! No! You’ll be stone dead in a moment!”
Pensioner: “I think I’ll go for a walk!”
Death Panel Doctor: “C’mon. Can’t ye do us a favor?”
Hospice Admin: “I’ve taken two from you this week!”
Pensioner: “I feel happy! I feel hap!”
*Thunk*
Death Panel Doctor: “Thanks. Much obliged.”
Hospice Admin: “No trouble at all. See you next week!”

Doctors said there was nothing more they could do for 76-year-old Jack Jones, and his family claim he was denied food, water and medication except painkillers. He died within two weeks. Most people would be dead sooner than that, with no water.
If you deny a patient food and water, its murder. Call it what you want to, its murder.
And its something I'm seeing more and more. People are pretending for the sake of their consciences that they are letting a disease take its natural course, when in fact they have rigged the game so it has one outcome and soon.
If you are going to cut off someone's food and water, you may as well put a pillow over his head and get it done.
