Nearly all summer Deeds has been running against Bush or Robertson as opposed to McDonnell

Exactly right, it's like he's afraid of a face to face comparision. Weirder still is that he keeps replacing himself with Mark Warner! He's trying to create a Warner v Bush scenario and thinks that 'll work for him. It's pathetic really.
