And a controversy in 2000 and now is a Dim desire to assume that large numbers of illegals avoid the census, and therefore, the census count for certain groups in certain states should be increased by a percentage to account for those they assume avoided the census. There is massive unemployment in this country. If it is noted that there are significant numbers of illegals, those unemployed will be furious beyond measure. Already, unemployment benefits are beginning to dry up. There will be dead illegals in the streets if it continues.

Do LEGAL Hispanics really want to legalize ILLEGAL Hispanics?
46% of Hispanic voters supported Arizona's Prop 200 banning all state aid to illegals, which suggests they DO NOT support illegals. Are there any good polls on this?

“I (and Im sure others) understand that the counting is based on persons, illegal, criminal, or citizen.”
This has appeared in many threads in the past, and here it is again:

There are quite a few here who do not understand who is counted in the census.

Why stop with just boycotting the 2010 census and the 2010 elections? What is really needed is a boycott of the welfare offices, the ERs and the public parks. Such a widespread boycott would make us gringos so lonely that we will be begging them to return. :-]

They should boycott. They should also send ICE agents with the census workers to find out where the raids should be held!

I am not at all naive. I was simply pointing out in a sarcastic manner the fact that the Census Bureau now answers directly to the White House and not the Department of Commerce. This was one of the very first changes that Obama put into effect, by EO.
Ergo the codes you cited, by the letter of the law, don't apply as the Census Bureau is no longer a part of the Commerce Department.
And trust me, I don't trust or respect either of the major political parties. Much to the contrary. Anyone still believing that either party is going to stand behind the Constitution is definitely naive!
