I'm starting to get concerned. Someone else said last nite that their McAfee showed a 'trojan' on a link that was posted. I have Norton and haven't received any warningswhen clicking on the links. Maybe my security settings are off? What's your opinion?

I stopped using McAfee many years ago - switched to Norton while working for the biggest MasterCard co. in the world after they had a near miss crash from a Trojan and switched to Norton.

Now, Norton comes free with Yahoo mail, but I also use AVG, running auto scans. AVG has been great at catching/killing viruses. However, I recently also started using SuperAntiSpyware and it catches things the others don't...including a long list of cookies daily.

However, I was directed to a link from a FR poster yesterday that raised a red flag with me - I immediately ran the Spyware and, bingo, it caught a Trojan.

I have no doubt that we true Americans have very real enemies that are concentrating more than ever on sites like FR to cause great harm and to capture names/ISPs.

We need to be vigilant. (Do not doubt the report that the bambalina's own thugs are combing through FB and such sites as a full time assignment.)

"We need to be vigilant."

Absolutely and thank you all for the information. I'm going to do a "thorough" search & cleansing on my PC this evening. Think I will upgrade Norton as well; information here has really directed me. Thx again

I use the SuperAntiSpyware too, and it’s a great program.
