When did you become a doomer?

http://blogs.wsj.com/economics/2009/10/02/broader-unemployment-rate-hits-17-in-september/

When I saw this and realized counting the GOP Moderates in the US Senate, the Democrats have a 65 Seat Majority and are so solidly entrenched in power nothing short of political revolution is going to get them out of power ever again.

That the lotus eaters that make up the majority of the US voter base are so fundamentally stupid and lazy they will never get off their butts and do a thing about this corrupt set of photogenic idiots busy ruining their country as long as the cable and the net keep working so they can get their daily porn/sports/gambling/soap opera fixes.

That between the Democrat Left and the GOP Left who are going to dominate our politics for the next 2 decades there is not even a glimmer of a notion of a hint of a possibility of a clue on how to fix these economic problems so they will just continue papering over them until the whole thing goes smash finally.

Kennedy and Reagan showed them how to fix this problem in the capitalist system but instead Dear Reader and his DC clown posse are going to do everything they possibly can (Cap and Tax, Health Care Destruction. Stimulus bill after stimulus bill etc) to make a grim economic picture even grimier.

World wide the thugs, the barbarians, the authoritarian ideologues gather their strength while the men of the West gaze at their navels and wring their hands over absurd nonsense non issues while doing nothing to defend "the last best hope of mankind" .

The shadows are growing, the last light is failing in the west and, sad though it is to say it, only in fairy tales does the hero ride in at the last minute to save the day.

It sure has gotten worse and looking to get a whole lot worse.
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

I heard that business about how we couldn’t possibly do worse than Bush countless times. I told some who said it that regardless of who won the election within two years we would wish we had him back and 2008 would look like the good old days. They thought I was crazy then, I wonder how they view the situation now.

That’s why I’m for an “armed struggle” not for a halloween party (in reference to tea parties).

Unfortunately according to the polls the Lotus Eaters in the American Voting public still are clinging to the “It's all Bush’ fault” dogma screamed at them non stop by the US Junk Media.

However that is propaganda line is fading in effectiveness and by this time next year Dear Reader and his clique will own the issue of the economy, for better or worse, lock, stock and barrel.

I’ve been hearing the “90% are employed, happy days are here again” meme for about 6 weeks now. Soon it will be on state run media.

There's a lot of talk about the "new normal"

As opposed to major complaints when it was 4.5%

Cheer up, things can turn around fast with the right leaders. The people will not put up with this for much longer and by 2010 Obama will be forced to moderate because the House will have a large turnover and will become Republican again. They tried to fast to jam everything down everyone’s throat.

“and Obama would save us”

Which is why they are still unemployed. They sit around waiting for someone to save them.

They thought I was crazy then, I wonder how they view the situation now.

Go ask them.

Then ask them if they remember good economic times AND low taxes together. Then quote Captain Planet at them..."The power is YOURS!"

Tell them to vote OUT every Dem they say, and every RINO.

Cheers!

Just begin chanting "Obama's fault".

Ask them if they remember what it was like to have a job AND a house AND two cars.

And not have to worry about going bankrupt.

Cheers!
