There would be mass suicides all over the middle east.

I don't think we want that. Here in the West a suicide is usually done alone as an act of quiet desparation. In the Middle East it might cause a huge traffic jam of suicide car bombers with only the walkers, bicycle suicide bomber and occasional motorcycle suicide bomber getting through.
