I keep a pistol stuffed in the recliner by me, this article makes me want to keep a shotgun across my lap. Hard to believe we have a govt. that would try to disarm us. True, having a weapon may not save you in every circumstance,I’d rather take my chances with one than without.
I didn’t read in the article, did they break in the door, or did the people know them and let them in?

With young children around, this is not always feasible. I do, however, keep multiple swords scattered around the house (which can be just as lethal in close quarters, less likely to endanger innocents, plus kids know at a very young age what "sharp, don't touch" means).

From what I gather on the first article that posted here a few days ago the woman (a nurse) and her child just moved to town and it was a random (just picked a victem) murder.

Cant imagine the suffering the Dad (who was out of town) is going to go through with the trial and all.

From what others who have lived or do live in this area murder just is not a crime that is known to happen.

Also on a Freeper posted the good/evil punks facebook posts on the other thread.

The kid posted to face book after he murdered the woman and (almost) the child.
Like four hours after.
Posted something about what a awesome time he and the freinds had that morning. (the time of the murder).
