CAMDEN, New Jersey (Reuters) Democrats running for governor in New Jersey and Virginia face possible defeat in November, despite strong showings by President Barack Obama in those states last year, in elections that could render the first judgments on the Obama presidency.
New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine, a close Obama ally, is struggling to win re-election in the face of a strong challenge by Republican Christopher Christie.
The Obama administration has turned out in support of Corzine, a wealthy former Goldman Sachs executive.
At a rally in Atlantic City this week, Vice President Joe Biden said it was "critically important" that Corzine is re-elected.
The Corzine campaign adapted the popular Obama slogan, hanging a banner next to Biden reading: "Yes we can -- again.
In Virginia, the only other U.S. state with a gubernatorial contest this year, Democrat Creigh Deeds has been losing so much ground in the polls to Republican Bob McDonnell that he has blamed the Obama administration's $787 billion economic stimulus plan for his low popularity.
A Washington Post poll published on Friday gave McDonnell a commanding lead of 53 percent to 44 percent, with less than a month to go until election day.

.....And these losses are only the beginning!

Yeap.
yes, the poster is a troll .check out his post.
The NY Times reported:
(a) every TV ad Corzine puts on the air is being screened by the Obama's WH team.
(b) The governors aides give the WH daily briefings.
(c) Obamas pollsters have taken over for Mr. Corzines polling team, and,
(d) White House operatives are on the ground for everything from internal strategy sessions to secret, obscure pep rallies with Latino supporters.

THATS WHAT FRIENDS ARE FOR Ohaha hid $14.5B federal stimulus in Jersey. According to an investigative news report, the billions have simply disappeared.....never to be seen....never used for the muni projects the WH heralded. Both Obama and Biden have also visited Corzine (Ohaha put Biden in charge of the stimulus dispersal).
We can safely conclude Ohaha hid $14.5B stimulus in Jersey to aid Jonnys reelection. $14.5B is a lot of walking-around "street money." Will buy Jon Boy all the hyphenated voting blocs he needs to get back in.
Corzine has a "Peruvian PAC" endorsing him---plus latino invaders from Ecuador, Mexico, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Cuba, El Salvador, Guatemala, Puerto Rico and Spain (all said to be in NJ---or being trucked in election day----all voting for Corzine with several identities).
Lets not forget Corzine was sucking up to 2008 candidate Hillary ---and even offered to fund primary do-overs for her (that she lost when states broke DNC rules). But when push came to shove, faster than you can say Im a loser with Hillary, at the DNC convention, Corzine gave all of NJs primary votes to Obama (even though Hillary won the NJ primary).
As for Christie, Giuliani's campaign manager is engineering this fiasco for Christie. If Christie knows what's good for him---he'd fire his campaign manager at once.
2008 Rudy is infamous for spending $60 million and getting only one delegate (that he shared). Rudy said he was "saving himself" for Florida, campaigned 63 days straight, and came in a distant third. Loser.
They’re going to lose Kansas as well.
Doubt it....New Jersey wil still elct the WORST as long as they are DEMOCRATS!
Thanks for the good news ping.
This stuff has to stop.
At this point I will be surprised IF any ‘conservative’ is elected to state wide offices.... The voter registrations in so many states are so polluted that I suspect there will not be a honest election for decades.
Now with ACORN busted open---we may get investigations into their registrations.
Course illegals multiple registrations under different identities are still a problem.
