In trying to find a article about how gullible my House Rep is to fall for this Stimulus bill, I thought this was good to be reminded of why Republicans stood against Democrats and President Obama on their rotten economic plan

So the Democrats’ idea of boosting the economy is to spend us further into massive debt. The bunch needs to sent home, and I pray that happens in 2010.

She says what is new, is the approach the stimulus plan takes. Klobuchar says it will help the country in the short and long-term. "It seems to me that they're stuck in the past, and all we know is that the policies of the Bush administration that got us into this mess, I don't think anyone in this country wants those to be continued," she said. "What we're talking about here is a new way of moving our country forward and it's by creating jobs in areas that we need them." True. We live in the past knowing that Keynesian Economics has failed everytime it was tried.

Represenative Bachmann has been singled out by the Demonrats; and, next to Sarah Palin, is the female conservative most pilloried by the Left.

For decades, Congress and various presidents have propped up Social Security in order to prove conservatives in the 1940s wrong when they predicted its collapse....and that was before abortion killed over 50 million future taxpayers in the womb. Conservatives who voted against past government boondoggles will ultimately be proven correct, after the USA goes bankrupt.

If the government wanted to stimulate the economy...they might start by saving tax dollars going to public radio. Turn on their talk station and hear all about the benefits of socialism the One is going to give us.
Sickening.

Why stop at a billion dollars, why not make it a brazillion dollars? Then, thanks to inflation, those who still have a job, which would be everybody, could pay off their mortgage with just part of a pay check which would screw the bankers and Wall Street and make zero happy. Then the government will give out free MREs and beer and everybody will be happy and vote demonrat. The end (of a libtard fairy tale).
