snip . . .

"The rift between rich and poor has intensified because rich countries have not put serious money on the table to help poor countries adapt to escalating impacts of climate change,"

"rich countries have not put serious money on the table"

That's the money quote!! Global warming is nothing but hot air and the grab of our money and granting power to politicians.

May global warming go the way of the DoDo Bird!!

Oh, and have your TV on as Obama will surely stick his nose into this mess and save the day. s/

Looking to 0 for leadership? Good luck. Unless they can handle him voting present, they’ll have a long wait.

Maybe TOTUS can do a better job. I would take a teleprompter running the country over this evil fool. I would take Biden or Paterson in NY over this fool.

At least Biden would add an element of humor to the whole mess.

‘Climate talks end with diplomats looking to Obama for leadership’

Good luck; he’ll lead nowhere but to the nearest camera. Particularly if it’s overseas and involves a luxury junket to a five-star hotel with 24 hour room service.

"Barack Obama's expected visit to Oslo to receive the Nobel peace prize in the middle of the climate talks raised hopes that he would make the short journey to Copenhagen to galvanise governments."

It is truly amazing how grownup adults, who have been journalists for many years, believe in fairies.
