Some things deserve being hated.. and not tolerated..

If you feel so betrayed, it's most likely because you didn't educate yourself before you voted. George W. Bush governed as he campaigned. He didn't lie about what was important to him.
You should have known who he was before you voted, and in that your emotional angst is your own fault.
