A story from my neighborhood.
I was in a beauty supply store with an adjoining hair salon. The stylist working on the man's hair was complaining about Republicans and conservatives opposing BO's health care plan. "And it's like they WANT him to fail," she sighed loudly. "All those tea party people with their guns, they want the world to end, they want the end to come now... I tell you, we weren't like this when Bush was in office. We didn't like what he was doing, but we didn't oppose him like that..."
And I thought, "Lady, yes you DID."
People have conveniently short memories.
There's that. And the fact that "leftist people" lie a lot.
