After all the years Regina spent with him, she had to have known he was a philanderer. No woman would miss that with someone like him. But, I am sure she hung around until the perfect time when she could legitimately go for the gold...and there was no question about his activities. Since Dave admitted to his dirty deeds, publicly, she has everything to gain now. I am sure it is just as she hoped and planned, knowing his worth...and that chances for her to gain such a fortune otherwise (marriage or whatever) are nil. My guess is that she has been very patient and very clever.
