Read the parable of the young rich man, Matthew 19:16-28.

Jesus said "it was harder for a rich man to get into heaven than it is for a camel to pass thru a needle's eye. With God NOTHING is impossible."

My interpretation of this is that the RICH have SO many MORE things to distract them from God and many, many more temptations than a poor person does. Yes, the rich can get to heaven.
