Not the biggest victory, but definitely Obama doing damage control—finally getting ahead of an issue rather than letting it blindside him.

Under the bus is too good for ACORN. We were alerted to ACORN
many months ago and only recently have they become an issue. This should tell you how long it takes the MSM to decide that an issue should be reported. Talk radio exposed ACORN some time in 2007 or even earlier, but since it was an Obama promoted organization the MSM refused to give talk radio any credibility in the matter. Only after they were hit over the head with evidence that could not be ignored did they pick up the story. This is called investigative journalism, or perhaps more aptly called, “head in the sand” journalism.
