If you think it's cold now in Montana and the Dakotas, just watch what happens!
Friday, an even stronger surge of cold air will come down from the Arctic, sending temperatures plummeting to unprecedented levels for this time of year. In Montana and the western Dakotas, temperatures will not rise out of the 20s Friday and Saturday which is roughly 35 degrees below normal.

I’d just go for some coolness over here in your sister city of Houston. We all sort of got left out of the global cooling last winter, and the winter before. I don’t think we’ve had a hard freeze in 10 years.

Me too, my friend. The lother day it was 83 and I thought I had died and gone to heaven.
It got kind of nice for a while there but then this week it has been like record high temperatures. And no relief at night. It always does this for some period of time in October. Drives me crazy. I love the heat but enough is enough.

I have sort of a rebellious nature about the weather,and when labor day comes and they say no more white I just say Ha! and wear it until it cools off. Its my way of saying I'm not doing it until you cool things off for us ;)and that goes for summer clothes too. Some gals down here that are so fashion conscious start wearing winter clothes on the first day of so called winder - I scoff at that!
Today, the temp in the carport was 99.

Here in Oregon, our pet skunks are stealing bedding like crazy for their nests.
From this, the wife is convinced that we are going to have a really cold winter.
Haven't put the snow tires on it yet. ;-)
Was that celcius or fehrenheit?
Farenheit, but it felt like Celcius.
