Weird, wacky, wild weather. Just what all the global warming models predict.

I’d just go for some coolness over here in your sister city of Houston. We all sort of got left out of the global cooling last winter, and the winter before. I don’t think we’ve had a hard freeze in 10 years.

Those are the ones that say fire has never in history been known to melt steel.

It got kind of nice for a while there but then this week it has been like record high temperatures. And no relief at night. It always does this for some period of time in October. Drives me crazy. I love the heat but enough is enough.

I have sort of a rebellious nature about the weather, and when labor day comes and they say no more white I just say Ha! and wear it until it cools off. Its my way of saying I'm not doing it until you cool things off for us ;)and that goes for summer clothes too. Some gals down here that are so fashion conscious start wearing winter clothes on the first day of so called winder - I scoff at that!

Here in Oregon, our pet skunks are stealing bedding like crazy for their nests.

From this, the wife is convinced that we are going to have a really cold winter.
