If someone did a little digging I’d be willing to bet that the US consumes more corn syrup than anywhere else in the world. I’d also be willing to bet that it has a lot to due with the rising obesity and diabetes rates in the US.

Follow the money. Corn subsidies for agribusiness, fat sick people dependent on high priced pharmaceuticals, surgery etc..

Coke made for the South American market still uses cane sugar.
Some grocery stores carry it in the import or kosher section.

We can get the sugar cane Coke at Costco here in NM. Good stuff.

I dropping the corn syrup/coke/nestea and it made a hugh and series difference.

What's really interesting is the fact that countries that don't use high fructose corn syrup in any significant quantities are experiencing, like we are, a dramatic increase in obesity and diabetes, especially in children. Go figure.
