Agree with you on Ruby, but can you name for me a more conservative electable alternative?
Although the question was meant for you, Rabs, I hope you don't mind if I put in my two cents.
Grunthor, as far as I'm concerned, a "more conservative electable alternative" is wholly irrelevant.
Your own tagline validates it.
I am in California; I regret daily that I didn't let Bustamonte win and refrain from voting for Arnold; I voted for Arnold because I believed that there wasn't a "more conservative electable alternative," "electable" being the operative word. Arnold got elected, and he has been much WORSE for California, the U.S.A., and the GOP than his liberal racist opponent, Democrat Cruz Bustamonte would have been.
Meg Whitman can kiss my ass. She ain't gettin' my vote. She, like Romney, advocates "leaner" government. Thoughtless people think that "leaner" is the equivalent of "less," but that is wrong. When something becomes "lean," it becomes stronger and more efficient. God save us from "leaner" government and the misguided Republicans who push it. We need LESS GOVERNMENT.
