Sprite518 - I would be more willing to accept your theories if you knew the difference between “right” and “write”. How about you pass third grade English before expounding on conspiracy theories.

Hawk, I am a writer by trade and tend to be one of Free Republic's biggest pains in the patoot with regard to grammatical errors and typos. I, too, was a little turned off by Sprite's use "right" instead of "write" ...

... and I pondered sending Sprite a friendly, helpful FReepmail (as I have myself received them from fellow FReepers) to advise him/her of the misuse of a word ...

... then I recalled a time when I consistently wrote "flower" instead of "flour" in an article I turned in about cooking. Not just once did I make the mistake, but consistently, throughout the article!!! Now, I knew the difference between "flour" and "flower," but for some reason, though I proofed and honed the story multiple times before turning it it, the mistake flat failed to register with my conscious mind.

Maybe that's what happened with Sprite, who knows!
