Romney may be next by being in 2nd in 2008 until he dropped out or it may be Palin by being VP nominee. It's not saying much, but Romney has less chance than Huckabee. Nominating Romney would permanently bury the GOP as an option for me and many others.

His comments in the last election about Mormons was just not right. What were his comments?

"I also like Huck but HE IS NOT ELECTABLE because of his far right religious views."
Agree that Huck is unelectable. Disagree that his views are right-wing. The Huckster is a product of the religious left. He's a leftist and a progressive.

Good one. However, it WAS Huck playing to the MSM (who was playing him, and the GOP, for a fool by pretending he was a real contender) by acting like he had gravitas like Al Capone. What he was was an inauthentic chump.

My vote won’t be for Huckabee in the primaries.

To find a Huckabee supporter, just find a fan of Joyce Meyer television ministries. One advantage Huckabee has is the network of Christian television and radio. Realizing he couldn’t compete with Romney’s wealth on the mainstream airwaves, Huckabee was a frequent guest on various TV evangelist shows during the Iowa caucus. Viewership in the Christian media subculture is comparable to ratings on talk radio.
If Huckabee were to be the GOP nominee in 2012, his path to victory would be to sweep all of the South (including FL) and win OH. Just like Dubya.

I like Huckabee as well but if Palin runs, I’ll support her. Jindal might be a good candidate as well but I don’t know too much about him.
Palin needs to do something big to justify quitting the Governorship or she will have trouble winning.
I will never vote for Romney, never.
