Visiting nurse checked my 90 yr old mom today. As she went to put the BP cuff on, my mom said

"You're not putting that around my neck are you?"

Nurse: "No, Obama doesn't tell us what to do yet."

I was amazed. This is blue state CT. More than that though is that the nurses keep away from anything which might upset. That she felt easy enough making this joke means Obama is not liked by the other patients she sees.
