If it's one thing I've learned, don't trust Rick Perry. There are too many companies, too much money, especially foreign money, and too many people with links to Perry who will benefit from a TTC. They'll change the name, claim they are dropping it, etc., but I don't doubt for a moment that they are simply shifting gears and looking for another angle.

I'm not in the tinfoil crowd who think that TxDOT will deliberately screw around with highway construction and traffic flow to get people talking about the need for the TTC, but I do think that they'll make another run at it.

Rick Perry does not like to be crossed and does not like it when his projects don't succeed.
