Suspected MILF rebels kill 2 farmers

COTABATO, Philippines (Xinhua) – Suspected Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) militants attacked and killed two farmers in North Cotabato province, police said today.
An undetermined number of suspected MILF rebels yesterday shot dead Arnie Cadiao, 40; and Mario Casabio, 39, in a remote village in Kabacan town, North Cotabato, according to police chief Inspector Franklin Anito.
Anito said the victims died on the spot.
“There’s an operation to track down the attackers,” the police official said.
