We've received many requests from freepers requesting that other freepers not post to them. There are several problems with this.
1. It's impossible for us to enforce.
2. We don't have the time to enforce these requests.
3. We don't have the software to keep track of these requests.
4. Thick skin helps.
5. Ignore the poster, if you don't reply, they won't reply.
Free Republic does not need a bozo filter, bozo filters are for wimps.
Final note: Trolls, troublemakers, disruptors, forum pests, malcontents, RINOs, liberals, stalkers, et al, would continue posting to (harassing) someone after being asked to stop. Conservative FReepers would not.
You remember those? Things were great.
Unfortunately, the moderators at the time usually threw out the baby with the bathwater.
For instance, muslims and their sympathizers would arrive as teams and zero in on someone effectively posting against the killer cult, and arranged to get rid of them. Simply by filing multiple complaints of abusive posts simultaneously.
Fortunately we seem to have a more savvy set of moderators now.
Now that is just down right FUNNY!!!!!!!!!
NT, you're gonna fit right in with our motley crew!!!!!
It’s only fun until SOMEONE gets hurt. You two KNOCK IT OFF!
I bet Jim Thompson could do it.
:-)
First, you go to the doctor and have your testicles removed...
You have stalkers? Who woulda thunk?

I like talking to myself. Myself makes a great deal of sense and has fresh breath.

COTABATO, Philippines (Xinhua) Suspected Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) militants attacked and killed two farmers in North Cotabato province, police said today.
An undetermined number of suspected MILF rebels yesterday shot dead Arnie Cadiao, 40; and Mario Casabio, 39, in a remote village in Kabacan town, North Cotabato, according to police chief Inspector Franklin Anito.

So Id like it if Free Republics forum had a To and From line at the TOP of posts,I like that idea, I'm not sure it's workable.
I am a member of a religious denomination forum, they have that "ignore" function but if you reply to an article and someone replies to your reply, you have to go back to the original reply to see if anyone answered you. It's a total mess and I don't waste much time there.
Your list has certainly grown and I am only up to 77. Put me on it because I’m about tell you to stop whining.
I hope you have asbestos underwear.
Popcorn time.
Yeah, I noticed it after I posted, mods are only nearly perfect.
Oh, good. Now I feel. I'm always doing.

Old MacDonald’s Mama must not have been home.
Reminds me of the time some years ago when a newbie said to Jim Robinson “Who the hell do you think you are?”
It was a Saturday night and we were dying waiting for the response.
I think he had something do do with the Dalai Lama being snubbed by the magic muslim.
Whooo, kissy kissy...
Kinda partial to the blond mod, eh Publius?

I am a newbie but thank God I’m not that dumb....
I don't care who you are, that right there would be a great tagline.
