New Jersey Governors Race A Toss-Up: Christie 47%, Corzine 44%

Either one of them will just eke past, I think.
Corzine has the 10% electoral fraud discount on his side.
Kiss of Death...Incumbent below 50 percent. Most undecideds will break to challenger.
I hope Christie can pull out enough of a win to avoid a recount. After Dino Rossi and Norm Coleman, I have very little faith in that particular electoral process.
These quotes from the poll’s summary are very favorable for Christie:
“However, among voters who are certain of how they will vote and say they wont change their minds, Christie does a bit better. The Republicans hopeful holds a five-point edge among those certain voters.”
“Feelings remain stronger about the governor: 37% have a Very Unfavorable view of him while just 23% say the same about Christie”
“The Republican challenger is still trusted more on taxes, government spending and cracking down on corruption.”
This is very interesting:
“New Jersey election laws limit Daggetts upside potential. When Jesse Ventura was elected as an independent governor of Minnesota, he was aided by the fact that new voters could register and vote on Election Day. In New Jersey, registration closes weeks before Election Day.”
I still think Christie is actually ahead by 4 or 5 points. It’s going to come down to the last two debates and the Repub’s get-out-the-vote effort.
I thought this new poll would interest you.
You got that right. The buses from Philly will start rolling on election day.
Corzine by 5 is my guess.
I think we will win the VA Governors seat, probably comfortably, But NJ will probably give Corzine a second term (too many registered voters in cemetery’s).
Unless the GOP candidate is nearing a double digit lead, he will lose every time in a heavy blue state. The “MOF” is between 6-10 points.
Well up to this poll all I heard was that Christy was ahead by double digits. Something fishy here.
The will be filming the Dawn of the Dead: Election Day in Newark
Rasmussen is usually reliable.
Public Policy Polling is conducting polling for the Jersey race now. PPP should release its analysis later this week.
NJ is a stagnant toilet of fetid and festering turds. Corzine will win going away.
No chance, Christie wins hands down, Corzine is hated even by many dems, and especially by Independents.
No chance, Christie wins, but only because voters despise Corzine, which is fine by me.
Let’s go NJ! Vote Corzine out.

With the Jersey being close, could SNL and David Letterman start making jokes about fatboy Christie?
Go Christie!!!
