Bill Ayers is an arrogant SOB. I can believe he made those remarks unprompted.

That’s the way he is. I bet it kills him not to get any credit for authorship.

It eats the little attention whore alive. I’m convinced it was Ayers who spilled to beans to Christopher Andersen.

He could become a problem for Zero at some point.

He has been credited for the authorship for some time now by the people that he wants to know, his circle of marxists etc. He doesn't need the money and he doesn't care what the masses think. He wants to be credited for "generosity" to Obama by those he admires like Obama's czars, Castro, Chavez, etc.

His saying, "Prove it and we can split the royalties" is his way of saying to Ann Leary that she is powerless and he is on top. "Guilty as hell, free as a bird."
