New Hampshire is so beautiful. So sad that such a horrendous crime could happen in such an idyllic place. Prayers for the family.

Kimberly Cates which determined the registered nurse, who worked part-time at area hospitals, died from multiple sharp injuries to the head, torso, left arm and left leg. Her death was ruled a homicide.
Drugs. Either they thought she had some or she did. No, I'm not a detective, but it will turn out to be drugs.

Give them each a pre-crucifixion scourging followed by a salt water bath.

On Monday, Delker said police don’t know the motive for the crime — the first known murder in Mont Vernon in at least two generations. White suspects, looks like this story could go national. If the victim happened to be a minority, it'll go international.

Probably Greta or Nancy Grace will have it on. Mont Vernon is a very small town, too. The kind of place you’d want to move to escape violent crime.

Steven Spader, 18, Christopher Gribble, 19, both of Brookline, William Marks, 18 and Quinn Glover, 17, both of Amherst, will be arraigned late this morning in Milford District Court, according to the New Hampshire Attorney General's Office. The godless generation. What happens if kids are raised without morality? Gee, I dunno...

As someone said, this sounds like drugs will be involved. Can’t imagine why three guys in their late teens would harm a mother and her eleven year-old daughter unless it was driven by drugs, or maybe a burglary gone wrong, or it was some family conflict (apparently not in this case).

The first murder in TWO generations??!! Apparently New Hampshire has far fewer Amish than Chicago or Detroit.

Why would a registered nurse have drugs? They aren’t pharmacists.

Two towns over from mine. This kind of thing almost never happens around here. It’s just an awful story - I cannot even imagine what evil impulse overtook these boys, but those responsible need to pay. Unlike our neighboring states, NH is tough on such criminals and we do have the death penalty.

Pathological. Hope he gets locked up for a long stretch - in the interest of the innocent people of New Hampshire.

Her 11-year-old daughter was alive but severely injured when police arrived at the family's ranch-style home...*sigh* I know what they're trying to say, but, seriously, who edits this?
