The mocking of Creigh Deeds' occasional stuttering by the co-founder of the Black Entertainment Network is a "cheap shot and a new low" in the gubernatorial race, a spokesman for the Democratic candidate told FOXNews.com.

So did the guys who approached her.
Screw that. If a bigwig at the NAACP can make fun of an person of Asian descent, then this behavior is perfectly fine.
Personally I hope she doubles down, and states that the fact that Creigh Deeds is getting his a knot in his panties over what someone said on YouTube proves that he does not have the maturity needed to hold the office of Governor.
Not me! (Yes, she was dead by then.)
That’s quite an undertaking.
Attacking a politician’s speech patterns is just the well-known “nukular option.” Besides, it invites the opposition to “misunderestimate” the victim. So it’s all good.
I admit your route is tempting, but we can’t let this detract from the momentum of the campaign. Get it out of the way and move forward.
It’s not a campaign video, it’s a video shot at a fundraiser, and the woman isn’t part of the campaign, she’s a donor.
Interestingly, at least one article called her a billionare, but never bothered to mention she was black. At least it didn’t try to hide that she was a woman.
Also, while the Deeds campaign is trying to say this is a “cheap shot”, there doesn’t yet appear to be any evidence that Deeds actually has a speech impediment, just that when he gets flustered, he stammers a lot.
After 8 years of the left making fun of Bush for how he speaks, it’s funny to see the democrats complaining about this — especially since 4 years ago, the democrats were making fun of Kilgore for his “accent”.
OF course, the problem is that the media loves democrats, and are likely to try to play this up as some handicapped thing. Truly handicapped people should be outraged that Deeds is trying to hide his inability to speak well behind their handicap.
The actual statement called it “a ch-ch-ch-ch-cheap shot and-and a, uh, a n-n-n-n-new l-l-low”
“I will be voting McDonnell, even though the Virgninian-Pilot is trying to convince me he that he is a misogynistic woman hater. Good try guy”
You should say “ESPECIALLY BECAUSE the lyin’ Virgninian-Pilot is trying to convince me he that he is a misogynistic woman hater by mis-quoting a 20-year old term paper.”
ANNOY THE MEDIA. VOTE REPUBLICAN.
This is another shot by NotLarrySabato, i.e. Ben Tribbett, who sunk George Allen two years ago with the Macaca video.
He works closely with the democrats, and has people in the media in multiple places that have built him up as a “source” and will run real news stories based on his postings.
Thus, other news organizations can “report” on the controversy as it appears in “real news”, making blogging into reality.
In this case, he’s trying to plant the idea that Creigh Deeds has a real handicap from an accident when he was 12 years old.
The problem for Ben is that there appears to be no stories anywhere that mention a physical speech impediment; so the next thing is for the liberal minions to put such a story into Wikipedia.
Then the news will report THAT as if it is true.
The fact is that Deeds stammers whenever he is caught in a lie, or trying to explain his wrong-headed policies. Even the washington Post called him “stammering”.
And since Jackson’s message was that we needed a Governor who was articulate and didn’t stammer whenever he was under pressure, it seems her message was good, although it’s never really a good idea to do fake stuttering.
Fortunately, it wasn’t the candidate doing this, so in a sane world this would be a non-story, especially since the woman who did this is black and a strong supporter of democrats such as Tim Kaine and Barack Obama.
SO Ben Tribbett and the democratic-controlled media will certainly try to forget Jackson’s part in this — hence the headling of this article which suggests this was a campaign attack by McDonnell, when in fact it was a democratic operative who filmed this and released it to NotLarrySabato, who held it for 2 weeks to use at this time when they needed a boost.
Unfortunately, if we had a video of Creigh Deeds making fun of McDonnell, we could post it everywhere and no news outlet would care. It was amazing that the newspeople actually mentioned Creigh Deeds attacking a female reporter, but that was their OWN VIDEO, so they didn’t really have a choice.
It’s Creigh, and no he’s not.
Not only that, they're on the record for calling Deeds supporters "Creightards" and referrring to Deeds' rural campaign tour as the "Deliverance Tour."
The comments by Ms. Johnson were unfortunate, but they were not in any way a reaction to a speech impediment, but to Deeds stumbling over the tax issue following the recent debate. THAT's the embarrassing video.
But go ahead and let the Democrats trash Sheila Johnson all they want.
She has given bazillions to multiple Democrat candidates. And was one of the top, if not the top, contributors to Tim Kaine.
She's given to ONE Republican.
Go ahead, Dems, push her out of the party for good.
These are the same clowns who made fun of Kilgore’s southwesternern VA accent?
You forgot that he's also a racist. And don't forget he is just Pat Robertson in disguise.
I'm having a blast with those attitudes at the Pilot. It's just too funny for words. The man is anything but either a misogynist or a racist.
I really enjoyed the endorsement by the women who work with him now in the Atty. Gen. office. There were quite a few black women endorsing McDonnell.
Sheila has apologized and it is time to drop this. Drudge has it on this website - this thing needs to die a quick death.
I think that has been one of his best campaign ads. Yet the Pilot is going all out against the ads.
About once every other month my husband breaks down and buys it of a Sunday morning, I just read it on line. It’s really the only way I can get “local” news other than the twice weekly Gannet rag that comes out of Salisbury, MD.
I have a stutter too. So I hope people here can understand I do not particularly enjoy watching the video. Who is this harpy?
