I can certainly envision one without the evil act. There should be enough ways to end this life, without having someone do it to you in a violent and evil manner, especially when the Creator knows all along it will happen.

Perhaps, what you conceive of as the truth, is debatable?

It’s not a big deal, calm down. I’m sorry, but I’m not going to repeat everything, that was said. This is just a simple web forum, not anything serious.

You are correct when you say I do not appear to be seeking answers, because I’m not. I am not seeking answers, but responses to questions.

First of all, I have no real goals. This is a web forum, it’s for passing the time and entertainment with some interesting and educational sidelites. Should I announce before commenting, that I am here for entertainment, and that I may be asking some questions, that apparently some don’t like?

Do you really feel used because I asked you some question about God?

We’ll probably never know if any of this is useful. I don’t have anything in mind, it’s just something I do.

Haven’t figured it out yet, I think it’s a life-long project.

Just as soon as you honor the Christian perspective on sex

There you go again. I’m calm. That’s a very weak debate tactic.
And again, why are you seeking responses to questions if you aren’t seeking answers?
Your first question, tho, goes to the heart of why it makes no sense for a Christian to argue with a non-Christian. We have differing views of what the truth is. I believe the truth is that Jesus Christ came to earth to to die for my (and your) sins, that He rose again and thus overcame death so that we can to. If you don’t believe that, we have no common ground to discuss things like why God does what He does. Your frame of reference is different from mine.
It’s kind of like discussing the merits of capitalism with an avowed communist. The perspective is so different, you will not find much common ground. It is a waste of time.

Not really, but if you’re not really looking for answers, it’s far easier to walk away from the debate when I get bored with it.

OK, you’re calm.

What part of ‘just seeking responses’, isn’t clear? Why do you assume I need answers, or even why you need to know? Of course it makes no sense for a Christian to argue with a non-Christian. As you say, the two beliefs don’t have the same reference. Don’t you get bored talking with people about the same thing over and over? No one expects answers from these conversations, because that is all they are...conversations. People have been doing this sort of thing forever, why do you want to end it now?

We most certainly do have a common ground, we are both human beings, created by God. How much more common ground can one have? Don’t you believe that any talk of God can take place between indivuals of different faiths?

Because there is no common ground, discussion is a waste of time? Do you really believe that?

OK, I probably can guess any responses you may have to my future questions by now anyway.

Then, there’s no reason to continue the conversation. Frankly, I really just wanted you to be up front about what you do here. Now, I can always refer back to this thread if anyone wonders what you’re about. Thank you.

I am always completely up front, but I understand, you are unable to accept it. Bye for now.
