Problem is business is not hiring now because they have developed a bunker mentality about the economy. You have to do something to get them out of it. Just massively cutting taxes and spending works long term, it does not do anything short term to get people hired.

Business all ready have to pay taxes, Giving them a tax deduction for new hires is merely one way to let them keep their own money that would actually be politically do able.

It's all philosophy MNJ. Either you believe in our economy/small business and use a stimulus plan to actually stimulate business, reduce the burden on small business and help fund them or you buy votes and pay off political favors with huge amounts of money. Guess which one we got.

Business is rationally in a bunker mentality until they see that the Marxists in power are not only going to be thwarted in their goals, but also that the damage they’re doing now is going to be repealed.

Picking favorites by trying to give a break to those who only with that incentive will decisde to hire is hurting those who have already hired up or who laid off fewer to date, but it’ll also weaken thos who hire just for the break.

Across the board, permanent taxes cuts accompanied by cuts in spending are the only rational way out of this.
