I'm pretty sure most would opt for private health insurance after a few bad experiences with paid Medicaid. 40% of doctors do not accept Medicaid patients because their reimbursement rates are so low. They lose money on every patient, which means they have to raise the rates for everyone else.
12% of doctors don't accept Medicare patients for similar reasons. But nine out of ten Medicare recipients also have private, supplementary insurance.

For Obamacare to actually work, which it wont, the govt. will have to jail all doctors who refuse to except obamacare and jail the 45% other doctors who have suggested they will retire if obamacare comes about. Should be an interesting time as the brownshirts march those who keep us alive off to an obma jail cell.

Plus. Most insured people get their insurance through their companies. Once a company realizes they can save money and make greater profits by changing to federal healthcare, employees won’t have an option to keep their old coverage.

40% of doctors do not accept Medicaid patients Like I said: "a few bad experiences with paid Medicaid" and they'll likely gravitate to the far superior private health insurance.
