The Congressional Mandate, Diversity Immigrant Visa Program (DV) is administered on an annual basis by the United States Department of State (DOS). It provides for a new class of immigrants known as 'diversity immigrants' (DV immigrants), for which 50,000 permanent resident visas are made available annually to people from countries with low rates of immigration to the United States. The annual DV Program makes permanent resident visas available to people meeting the simple, but strict, eligibility requirements. Applicants for Diversity Visas are chosen by a computer-generated random lottery drawing. The visas, however, are distributed among six geographic regions with a greater number of visas going to regions with lower rates of immigration, and with no visas going to citizens of countries sending more than 50,000 immigrants to the U.S. in the past five years. Within each region, no one country may receive more than 7 percent of the available Diversity Visas in any one year. The online registration period for the DV-2011 DV lottery is between noon, Eastern Daylight Time (EDT), on Friday, October 2, 2009, and noon, Eastern Standard Time (EST), on Monday, November 30, 2009. To participate in the DV lottery, interested individuals must complete the electronic entry form (Form DS-5501) that is available during the registration period. Additional registration information may be found in the DV-2011 Lottery Instructions (.PDF document). There is no charge to download and complete the Diversity Visa Entry Form, and the DOS notifies successful DV applicants by letter. The DOS is aware of instances of companies and websites fraudulently seeking money to complete the forms and/or notifying individuals by e-mail. The U.S. government is the exclusive operator of the DV Program. Any agents or brokers offering assistance do so without the consent or authority of the U.S. government. Use of an agent or broker is entirely at the applicant's discretion. The ultimate aim of the diversity pushers is the destruction of Western civilization. Do not think for a moment that this isn’t a coordinated and intentional program to replace the original inhabitants of our country with more servile people who are accustomed socialism and will vote accordingly.
This is the technique used by our government to bring in people who really hate America.
Importing immigrants who have no intention to ever assimilate.
And we have to believe that congress’ decisions are driven by the best intentions for the country?
And they most probably don't have any skills. How many cab drivers do we need?
My airport taxi driver yesterday was from Darfour - could barely speak English, had no idea where any neighborhoods in town are.
DT09, I can remember as a kid, “give me your weak and lame and ... or some such on the statue In the harbor. It just sounded swell. Old tradition, a pick by value, Ya get smart folks, caught thinking out side the box, gettin outa Dodge and lots of low end folks, not afraid of work or opportunity coming to a new world. This modification is the aesthesis of the original objectives. 5% of Americans on unemployment should probably trigger a slow down in Immigration of the most qualified.
At best, all of these folks will be in front of your dad and mom in the up and coming compulsory health care scheme of our rave new world.
Not bad enough, the potential for mischief here goes beyond that a considerable.

Oh so sorry Mr. neurosurgeon from France; you can’t come here because we would rather have some guy from Abu Abu who has nothing in common with our population - no education - no skills - no in door plumbing - no hygiene - and no understanding of civilized behavior. But man is he diverse!
These diversity shills greatest fear is that the people will unite. Then they will not be able to pit one race against the other; one sex against the other; one religon against the other; etc...........
