Yes, the NRA has made mistakes. Looking at the bigger picture, we would probably have gun laws equivalent to Canada, Great Brittan or Australia without the NRA.

I have seen anti-NRA fanatics on other sites. People who ask legitmate question about the law get response like "shall not be infringed" therefor anything is legal. These people generally are in strong favor of armed rebellion and are sometimes very scary. I have seen them debating about how physically fit they need to be to "hump" their gear.

Rebellion is coming but it won't be armed men humping gear around. It will take a form similar to what is going on in Iraq with the use of explosives and sabotage. Think OKC or Northern Ireland.

There are no gun laws that pass constitutional muster. Wanting the gov’t to abolish unconstitutional laws does not make a person a fanatic or scary.
