But his star power was shown to have limits, as the gritty midwestern city tumbled out in the first round of final voting, and

"missed it by that much"

Agree, Chicago could have spent $0 and could have phoned in the bid and it would have had the same result - last place.

So what value did Obama add to this game...... 0, nada, nil

The contemptous arrogant narcissistic fool just spent 9 months apologizing for the very existence of the US and STILL doesn't understand that his endless anti-American propaganda has consequences.

He is a complete failure as a human and as as a President.

Now we know what BO’s standard for a great game is. How will those standards affect our troops in Afghanistan? Stopping Iran’s nuclear weapons project? Keeping the homeland safe? Reducing unemployment? Fixing the economy?

Just think of all the Southside tenement houses his pals bought up in anticipation of cashing in on Olympic money.

Face it, this was above Obama’s pay grade, just like everything else he touches.

He ‘might’ be able to organize the ghetto community, but that’s where his talent begins......... and where it ends.

A Freeper described obama’s opening pitch as:

It came from the left, fell short and was hailed as a success.

Moe, Larry and Curley would have been better representatives.

Obama is still a loser.

The brutality would have been the displacement of all those folks who thought Obama was going to buy them a car, pay their bills, etc. Valerie Jarrett was chomping at the bit to pave over his disastrous handling of Grove Parc low income slums. This was payola, big time, so the One is still on the hook to the Daley machine.

“you can play a great game and still not win,”

I have the sickening feeling that this is now the U.S. official strategy in the Middle East.

I saw “the Ego has landed” line on Drudge.

That is a line worth remembering and repeating!
