“Something smells rotten in Denmark,”
As Marcellus said,”Something is rotten in the State of Denmark” and in this case it wasn’t their head of state it was ours. The O smelled up the place.
“Heaven will direct”...the vote was against Chicago. Damn that Horatio, he sure was a smart fellow.
not enough greek columns.
Not me, I’m delighted. I believe my office is, too.
The worlds jealousy of the United States is unending. Even Obama’s disgraceful global “apology” tour will not change it. And that’s just fine with me. Ours IS the best, strongest, wealthiest and in spite of Obama’s best efforts, most FREEDOM LOVING nation in the world. Our acting president spent millions flying to Denmark for yet another “look at the wonderful me” self-lovefest, and managed only to get jap-slapped by the IOC. Chicagoans didn’t want the Olympics in their city. Of course the breathtakingly corrupt mayor and his thug friends and supporters were excited about the games. Billions in kickbacks, sweatheart deals, graft. Valerie Jarrett able to sell her slum properties for a ton. Obama able to pay off some of those who put him in power. These were the real Olympic dreams! Dreams of scamming taxpayers for billions. Well, too bad Shortshanks. Too bad, Hussein and Mrs. Too bad Oprah. And poor Jesse Jackson will have to do without a world of free face time. Most of the rest of Chicago is happy as hell. And the muggers and pickpockets will be forced to continue making victims of the hometown crowd.
Actually mother nature will do that in short order.
Like, a secret vote???
Ya’ got me grinning. Spot on!
This is what is terribly funny about this: Bozo actually thought his magnificent self would cause them to faint with joy and vote for Chicago, he is unbelievable. He and the first hag thinks all they have to do is show up and that will settle it. Rush had a field day with this today, I was laughing all through his show this morning!:)
I do tel-com and got a ckt outage turnover from our Brussels office one morning
The guy in Brussels was telling me about an outage in "Cheek-ah-go" he had never hear of the city
Well, I don't know what exactly you do in 'tel-com' (proof-reader obviously not), but your post goes a long way to explain the spurious outages of my DSL service...Dude! (Punctuation, spelling - known concepts in IT these days at all?)
Any riots in Chicago likely in protest?
As for my "tel-com" background
I have 30 years as a Network Engineer / Product Specialist in NOC's & public telecom networks managing global 24/7 data networks
This includes configuring, maintaining, remote management & troubleshooting of domestic and international telecommunications data & voice protocols, physical layer up, over copper, microwave link, fiber optic, SONET/SDH, trans-oceanic and satellite systems transmission media in a production WAN/MAN networks including T1/E1, DAXs, DSs, and OC carrier level circuits.
This also includes daily interaction with all major world Telco's (Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa, the Americas), ITMCs and Switch Vendors to resolve issues and troubleshooting mission critical, high profile & chronic problem issues to expedite MTTR (mean time to repair). Im current on contract to one the major US carriers managing several of their business customers private IP data backbones
Also I am currently going for a double Cisco CCIE
(I dont want post my whole "tel-com" resume..it goes on three pages)
And yes, I suck as a writer as I'm dyslexic and also physically handicap, (arm amputee) since my early teens
But Im a dam good Network Engineer & troubleshooter and made very good money doing it
But again sorry MY quick post on a Internet board did not meet YOUR standards
We’ve known for like 30 years the IOC process was ruled by bribes and whores. Which does bring up the question: how exactly did Chicago lose?
How can it be worse? Since March Madness expanded to 64 teams, no #1 seed has lost in the first round.
And this a$$hole calls himself a journalist?
I knew I should have read the thread before posting!
Just giving credit where credit is due...
“Actually mother nature will do that [put some ice on it] in short order.
Isn’t that the truth? When I lived in Chicago, I remember walking down my street with snow up to my knees on Thanksgiving Day, then walking to Easter Dinner at the Pump Room after an ice storm, with icicles taller than I hanging from the trees. So, on Independence Day I accepted the job offer in Newport Beach, CA ;)
I have/had no problem with your ‘tel-com’ background.
I am sorry about your disabilities (no one can fathom that from a posting), but even so, reading what you type before hitting that ‘post’ button takes only a few seconds - and will make whatever then appears on these pages look so much more credible. (And, hey - that post of yours simply was somewhat of a train-wreck.)
No hard feelings and best to you,
Moltke
