No question I was rooting for my country, but from an objective standpoint, Chicago would have been a lousy city for the Olympics.

I am rooting for Rio. The US has had the Olympics twice since 1984. Asking for it a third time in just 32 years is a bit much. Let South America host it for the first time in the history of the Olympics. Those five rings stand for the continents. Only three have held the Olympics.
