You are absolutely right. When I landed my job a few years ago, I had been jobless for almost a year. I could not believe my good fortune after such a long struggle, and for several months my office was really pretty empty. I think in the back of my mind, I kept feeling like it was all too good to be true and someone was going to snatch it all away from me. Finally, someone pointed out to me that it might not be such a good thing to look like I was there "temporarily," and perhaps I should go ahead and "move in" and hang some things on the walls.

Agreed. He can't stand to be there, really. It makes him UNEASY.
