I did like Better Midler in Beaches, a movie she starred in with Barbara Hershey, a privileged rich debutante. Bette is a cynical struggling entertainer and the two of them share a turbulent, but strong childhood friendship over the years, ending with Barbara Hershey dying of cancer and Bette Midler caring for her and her daughter. But one line in the movie just cracked me up and it reminds me of our president. Bette said to Barbara Hersey: "But enough about me, let's talk about you... what do YOU think of me?"

Actually, when she had the nerve to talk about “acting civilized”...’For the Boys’ and her guest appearance on ‘The Nanny’ came to mind...She had the nerve to think that she and those like her are anything other than degenerates?
