If you are going to start a discussion as to what”is” is, count me out.

The article was off the wall.

The military does not think that way.

First, generals are as political as congressmen. Their assignments are political, their promotions are political and they certainly never get to be at the top levels in the pentagon or become in charge of theaters unless they have the right people pulling for them.

I did not say they are repubs or dims, I said they are political, meaning that they learn early on which side of the bread has the butter.

Those in the lower ranks don't have the right connections to pull off a coup. It would have to come from the very top.

If anyone in government gets Obummer, the Marxist now posing as a Fascist, out of office it will be the CIA.

But they will do it by digging up stuff on him and giving it to people like Glenn Beck or the NYT thus influencing the next elections.

Actually, that is as it should be.

We don't want this country to turn into a banana republic.
That would hurt conservatives in the long run. When we put our guy in there, we expect him to stay there until the next election.

What elections? If the man is so immoral as to not step down if it were proved that he is not eligible, why would you think he'd allow elections?

Either way what would your "political" generals do then? What would the Colonels do? Would they all stand aside and let the Constitution which they swore to support and defend be used as so much toliet paper?
