I was told by a friend was a village for dwarfs in Fort Worth Texas. He told us many things. It was built just down the street from Van Cliburn’s house. He told many stories as I mentioned before. One day he said he would take us to see the village. He drove us to a really upscale part of old Fort Worth. Went through a large gate and there was a large mansion. The front lawn was tree lined and about one acre in size with a cobble stone drive around it. As soon as we went through the gate we turned off on a asphalt road hidden by trees and went down into a small tree cover valley. There really was a small village there just a short drive around the big house in a meadow in the back yard. Well they were really the playhouses for the kids of the people in the big house. There was a store , fire station, a few house and others. The kids were grown now and I guess waiting for grand kids to come along. . Next we visited the real houses the three kids lived in now. They were also in the parents backyard but they were much smaller than the big house and much larger than the small houses. You could say they were just right. He drove us by the house he said belonged to Van Cliburn, he had been there many times to open the house up when Van would return to town. He also has come up with several uses of aluminum foil at his own house. He had been living with his parents but they decided to move out.
I spilled my milk and almost choked on my pop tart!
Thomas, I have to tell you......... that was very strange.
That’s one thing Michael Jackson never had in Neverland. A dwarf village. He’d cry if you told him he missed out.
