Hell, the UK newspapers were reporting a few weeks ago, that our own CDC had issues with it, because they were afraid of a repeat of the 1976 fiasco.
They can say what they want, but I don’t take flu shots anymore. Both times I’ve had one, I almost immediately got sick as a dog. The last time, our work gave them free, and both I and my manager had to go home, severely ill, within a couple of hours.
What worried me was when my youngest son, who’s in the Marines, was about to be deployed to Afghanistan, and he had to get a slew of immunizations. He tells me that he got really sick a few days later, high fever, chills, and nausea. He has no idea what they pumped into him, but it scared me at the time. Thankfully, he got better.
