From here in the Midwest, it seems like the last couple of hurricane seasons have been unusually mild. It must be Man Made Global Warming that is causing it.

Tornadoes however, are a different story. I hide and cry like a little baby at tornadoes.

10-15 foot Tsunami just hit American Samoa, pushing as far as 100 yards inland.
Snip - A tsunami watch was in effect for Hawaii, Papua New Guinea and other small Pacific islands.[The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center] noted that its warning did not mean a tsunami had necessarily been generated by the quake. American Samoa got hit first, water came about 100 feet inland before receding. The fact it was so close to the quake may mean the waves did not have time to build. Remember Thailand/Indonesia Christmas eve quake. It killed people on the east coast of Africa after crossing the entire Indian Ocean. Also the direction of the most severe waves is difficult to figure right away. Heads up Hawaii, Australia, NZ
Can a quake produce more than one Tsunami, or was this it?
