You said all that as if you’ve never had children. You’re making a lot of incorrect assumptions.
You might look in the mirror for someone who's making incorrect assumptions. Yes, I do have kids who are currently in school. If you want to know what your kids are doing in school, get up off the couch and visit the classroom, help out at school functions, join the PTO, and attend board meetings. I do those things as do many other parents. In fact, I attended two school functions last Friday and another one on Saturday. Last night, I attended a PTO-type meeting but didn't stop into to watch practice afterward as other parents did. This week, I'll be helping in the concession stand two evenings and I'll be in the classroom two days. One parent called today to inform me about a meeting he had with the school admin and teacher which might affect others in that class including my child. Today, as requested, I called a teacher about a notice she sent out and in the mail was a notice about an upcoming boosters meeting. So, yeah, I am very aware of what is going on in my kids' classrooms.
