Poles in 1683 AD stopped Islam at the gates of Vienna from taking Europe.

Well, they may have stopped them from taking Vienna, but they sure didn't stop them from conquering the rest of Europe.

The second siege of Vienna was the last desparate gasp of an empire that was falling farther and farther behind militarily with each decade. After this repulse the Ottomans were essentially in retreat for the next 250 years.

Ironically, the same military technology changes that doomed an Ottoman Empire unable to adapt its society enough to use them effectively doomed Poland over the next century to partition, for basically the same reason.

Huh? They were stopped at Vienna and the Holy league pushed the Ottoman Turks back to Turkey.

Supposedly they had better weapons or at least sappers (underground miners). After that, western europe’s weaponry advanced rapidly.

It was pretty tough for Poland to keep pace with Germany’s rapid pace of innovation in weaponry. The U.S. and UK could barely keep up and arguably did not keep up.

The point is Islam does not like Poland and someone bows to Islam.
