Before Congressman Franks concludes that the newspaper birth announcements couldn't have been forged, he should submit copies of those announcements to a well-respected certified document examiner for an analysis. He should also note that the newspaper birth announcements do not indicate a place of birth.

It is certainly within the realm of possibility that the Obama birth announcements could have been created relatively recently and electronically grafted onto the old, respective microfilm or microfiche copies of the newspapers within the last several years.

There is also the anomaly of the absence of the announcement of the births of the Nordyke twins - both born in Honolulu the day immediately after Obama's supposed DOB - from both newspapers, despite the claim from Obama supporters that the birth announcement columns are exhaustive of all births in and around Honolulu during that time frame and that all the newspaper announcements appearing were submitted by the Hawaii Dept. of Health. In other words, the absence of the Nordyke twins from the newspaper birth announcement columns confutes the (Obama-friendly) notion that local birth announcements in the newspapers at the time were, in effect, mandatory and not optional.
