GOP is a dead end for conservatives. There is longer an effective opposition to the Demrat Commie Party in this country. Denying that obvious reality is like denying that the sun rises every day.

She left her hand-picked successor in office as Governor. The jury is still out as to the permanence of her reform efforts in Alaska. But then, when is reform ever "done" when the forces of corruption are so persistent?

Also, what exactly is your seeming objection to someone helping to organize that opposition--in whatever form and whatever political party it might at last emerge? Nobody else on the national political stage, in my opinion, has the combination of opportunity and ability to do it as Palin does right now.

I don't worship Palin, or any person. I believe in liberty, however. I think she is in a position to advance that cause, and in a better position to do so than pretty much anyone else this side of Rush Limbaugh.

You are of course welcome to disagree and despair, as you seem to be doing.

I do not choose to despair quite yet.

Whoa Filbert. You have the wrong guy. I like Gov. Palin and I think she has the ability to form a meaningful opposition to the commie demrat party.

I do not believe the RINO-led GOP will be a viable vehicle for this. The RINO-backed demrats have coopted the GOP. Conservatives, even if they are allowed to run on GOP ticket, will never be given a meaningful role. Neither the RINOs or they’re handlers, demrats, will permit it.
