She's too smart to abandon the party; she'll redirect it back to its foundations.
Expecting her to single handidly over come socialist lite politicians such as McCain, Hatch, Graham, Snowe and OP Chairman Steele just to name a few is unrealistic. Don't exclude the Bush's in that groups simply because they no are no longer politically active. They still have tremendous pull in the OP.
Without the party you can't get congress, and without congress, it'd be a feckless presidency.
You are referring to the same party that lost control of the White House and Congress because it was feckless due to not taking a strong Conservative stance. Giving the OP another chance will result in more of the same.

You make it clear that you have no understanding of American party politics.
We have to get our people elected to the state and county party positions. That is where the power is, and without that you have nothing, regardless of what the party is. Building a third party would take 8-10 years at a minimum, and gobs of funding.
Better to take whatever we can, election by election, at the local party assembly level. That is where the rubber meets the road.
