U.S. Commander of Afghanistan only talked to Obama once

By Amanda Carpenter on Sept. 28, 2009

The military general credited for capturing Saddam Hussein and killing the leader of al-Qaeda in Iraq says he has only spoken to President Obama once since taking command of Afghanistan.

“I’ve talked to the president, since I’ve been here, once on a VTC [video teleconferece],” General Stanley McChrystal told CBS reporter David Martin in a television interview that aired Sunday.

Is it any wonder??? I don't think Obama has spent a whole week in Washington since he's been elected. And even when he's in Washington, he's busy here and there. Be interesting to see how much travel he's wracked up in these last 9 months. Talk about a carbon footprint.

According to a report I saw on Glenn Beck...Obama has known for quite some time that additional troops were going to be requested and he has done everything BUT take the time to work on Afghanistan!!!
